A one man band street performer from Croatia who is known as Cigo Man Band is fast becoming an internet phenomenon.

The unlikely celebrity Cigo Man Band, as he allegedly calls himself, is a busker, who can be found cheering the shoppers and tourists in Rijeka, Croatia with his own unique blend of upbeat and humorous one man band music.

He was filmed some while ago performing outside a shopping centre and the video was uploaded to various video websites by someone with the username dalezak back in 2008. Since then Cigo Man Band's popularity has gradually increased over the months and the video can now be found on a number of sites as other fans have picked up on it and spread the video to many more websites.

Not much is known about Cigo Man Band, just that he apparently performs in Rijeka, Croatia. From the video he appears to be still quite a young man, perhaps in his thirties. He sports a flat cap and large glasses as part of his costume when performing so it is not easy to get a very good look at him. He also wears red trousers cut off at the knee and stripy socks with clown-like oversized boots which have bells and a tambourine attached. He even has a little umbrella fixed over his head to protect him from either rain or hot sunshine! He is quite a sight to behold and the little kids clearly love him!

One man bands were made famous on the streets of Europe by British born Don Partridge. He had the classic one man band outfit with bass drum strapped on the back, operated by the foot, with accompanying guitar and harmonica. He was a busker who managed to have two top ten singles in the British singles charts with "Rosie" and "Blue Eyes" back in 1968. One man bands are quite a rare due to the skill required to play a variety of instruments.

Cigo Man Band of Croatia plays a drum, cymbal, tambourine, guitar, harmonica, kazoo, various horns, whistles, bells and squeakers and if that's not enough for you he even sings! A great talent indeed!
